FLSMIDTH (Corporate HQ – Santiago, Chile) / Products and services for Mining.
Position: Import Expediting Coordinator (From December-2019 to the present)
Negotiation, problem-solving and follow-up of purchase orders until their delivery according to negotiated incoterm.
Coordination of a global team of Expediters (4 persons. in India, the Philippines and the United States) for the expediting of aftermarket parts and equipment.
Achievements:
-       Created and implemented a PowerBI/Snowflake dashboard that has streamlined the Expediting team's activities.
-       Award received: "Agility, Collaboration, and Operational Excellence." – May 2022.
 
Position: Senior Buyer. (From June 2019 to November 2019)
Project EPICOR (Outsourcing) Aftermarket purchases of equipment and spare parts for the mining industry. Inventory purchases. Coordination of the supporting purchasing team in FLSmidth India (2 persons).

FORD MOTOR COMPANY
(Assembly Plant - Valencia, Venezuela) / Automotive.
Position: CKD & New Programs Buyer
Procurement Leader of the Project B515 (Eco-Sport). “Should-cost analysis” and negotiation with local suppliers. Tracking and coordination of international purchases in CKD modality (Complete Knocked Down) for the assembly of new programs and regular programs. Coordinator of two interns.
Achievements:
-       30% of cost reductions in packaging.
-       100% completion of the B515 program on time.
 
From May 2015 to September 2017
ALPLA (Main Plant – San Joaquin, Venezuela) / Plastic.
Position: International Buyer (Senior).
Negotiation and import of equipment and spare parts. Acquisition of raw materials, supplies, services, among others. Inventory control. Development of international suppliers. International transit coordination (Forwarders, cargo airlines and shipping lines), customs and local transportation. This position oversees the entire supply chain: Inventory, Purchasing, Follow-up, International Traffic and Logistics, Customs and Transport.
Achievements:
-       15% of cost reductions in traffic and customs in 2016.
-       Purchasing procedure restructuring in 2016.
-       Recycling and reverse logistics program implementation in 2016.
 
From September 2008 to April 2015
PDVSA (El Palito Refinery Expansion Project – Puerto Cabello, Venezuela) / Oil & Gas.
Position: Contracts Management (From November 2013 to April 2015)
International contract management (works and services). Responsible for EPsCm Contracts for El Palito Refinery Expansion Project. Companies: Toyo Engineering - Japan, Foster Wheeler Italian - Italia, Y&V Group Venezuela (Consortium TFYV) and the PMC (Project Management Contractors) (Posco–Korea, GS - Korea, APS – Italy, Sinohydro - China, Samsung Engineering - Korea). Support to the Planning and control department.
Achievements:
-       Completion of EPsCm contract in 2015.
-       300 unnecessary Man-hours detected and efficiently redistributed.
 
Position: Buyer (From September 2008 to November 2013)
International purchasing of equipment, packages, machinery, spare parts and others, for developing three principal projects of refinement in Venezuela: Puerto La Cruz Deep Conversion Project, “Batalla de Santa Ines” New Refinery Project and El Palito Expansion Project. This position oversees the entire supply chain: Inventory, Purchasing, Follow-up, International Traffic and Logistics, Customs and Transport.
Achievements:
-       The foundations and T&Cs equipment acquisition and transportation were laid for the Batalla de Santa Ines project through face-to-face negotiations during three months in Madrid, Spain (Foster Wheeler Iberia) in 2011.
